(More customer reviews)For my small business, I wanted something that could handle light items and heavy boxes with accuracy.I found a good deal on this scale on another site, but have been disappointed since day one.My other choice was a Pelouze, and if I could send this back I would.It plugs in, which I hate (since the Pelouze was just a mechanical scale).It requires batteries for the remote, which I had to go out of my way to get.You turn it on, and it beeps forever.The weigh function doesn't stay on, even though the light is on, so you have to keep turning it off and on - and listening to that awful beep.It doesn't actually weigh small things, even up to 4 ounces, so I have to add something to get it started and then add the small items.This is my worst purchase in a long time.Take my advice, the Pelouze is well made, mechanical, reliable and not completely annoying in every random way.
