(More customer reviews)Tomorrow will be the 2end anniversary of my scale. While it didn't come with a power adapter the first 9v battery lasted just 1 week short of 2 years.Even if it came with the adapter I wouldn't have used it.
If I handle the scale a little rough it will come on but other wise it's power on/offfunctions just fine.
I also have some scale calibration weights, the scale is at least as accurate as any scale I've owned and has maintained that accuracy.
The light feel (flimsy feel by other reviewers) can be attributed to advances to electronics, smaller and lighter.I really don't get much use out of hefting the scale.
The only downside is that the screen is hard to read if you weight something really large but keeping the scale small kind of forces that.A detachable screen would make it perfect but it would also make it more expensive so I put a raised platform on it to raise the object being weighed, a can of soup and a plate works fine.
It comes on, weighs accurately consistently, and has along life battery. What could be better.
