(More customer reviews)This is one of those things I didn't think I'd use much, but am glad I bought.As a private pilot, I was initially interested in it because it makes weighing bags for doing weight and balance calculations easier.Then, packing SCUBA gear for a trip to Belize, I wanted to make sure I was within the airline's 50lb baggage weight limit.It works well, has a large, clear LCD readout, stores somewhat compactly due to the folding handle, and holds the display so you can see how much your bag weighs *after* you put it down.Here's the process (for weighing in pounds):1) Affix the strap to your bag's handle using the web strap with the Fastex buckle, 2) turn it on with the power button, then press the units button to switch from Kg to Lb, 3) lift up using the steel handle and wait for the beep that tells you the bag's weight is locked on the display.Press Reset to start over.Works for me!
