(More customer reviews)I got this to weight pinewood derby cars for scouts.Works pretty well for that. The scale seems pretty accurate by .1 to .2 grams. It is sensitive enough to move with your breathing above it.It also tends to get heavier as something sits on it.These are small variances though.Overall prett accurate and it is nice and compact.
Now for the "you are kidding me" portion of the review. They send a nice calibration 100 gram weight with the scale.Yeah!Too bad the scale can only be calibrated with a 500 gram weight! You depress a button and it displays 500 grams.you put on a 500 gram weight and it sets that weight to 500 grams. If you put on the 100 gram weight.... congratulations, your scale now weights 100 grams as 500 grams. Why in the heck would a company include a useless weight for calibration?completely and utterly ignorant of their product is all I can figure.
So scale works great.just dont recalibrate or get ready to weight out 500 grams of pennies ... 100 grams at a time to get as close as possible to 500 grams.I can tell you, that is a major pain in the rear.
