I am trying to pursue the warranty, but there is no number to call on the unit, so I am not encouraged by this.

Nicest thing about this (for kitchen use) is that I can place a saucer plate on top of the scale, it automatically adjusts to a new zero and then I can measure cuts of meat by the oz with precision down to .05 of an oz.
ON the office side, it can measure items up to 15# if the box is small enough to fit on the scale and still see the numbers.

If there was a down side, it is the few seconds it takes to adjust to the new zero, when turning it on, but I'm not that impatient.
